Lori was born in the country in southern Saskatchewan. Although not introduced to clay until she attended University, one of her favourite childhood activities was playing with mud. Creative activities were a constant throughout her youth, as her mother and Baba were excellent sewers, knitters and embroiders.
After a fifteen year period of teaching and counselling people with disabilities, she returned to her passion of working with jewelry.
Lori has a deep connection to nature. Lines, movement, and shapes in nature are what presently lead her discoveries.
